Arbi in gravy

Ingredients:
1)Arbi (colocasia) peeled,chopped and washed.
2)Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
2)Black pepper powder-1tsp
3)Dhaniya powder-2 tsp
4)Ajwain- 1tsp
5)Heeng-1/4 tsp
6)5 cloves,5black cardamoms,2 red chillies,3 bayleaves
7)amchoor powder-1/2tsp
8)Curd-1 cup (leave out amchoor if curd is sour)
salt to taste and oil for cooking

Method:
1)Deep fry arbi till golden brown.
2)Heat oil in a pan (about 1 1/2 tbsp).
3)Add ajwain and bayleaves and let the seeds splutter.
4)Add the other spices and powders and fry for 10 sec
5)Add a cup of water and simmer till water boils.
6)Add curd tablespoon at a time and keep stirring .
7)Add fried arbi and salt. Cook till done
