Raagi (Finger Millet) Roti

Ingredients:
1)Raagi flour- 1 cup
2)Medium sized onion finely chopped-1 no
3)Chopped green chilly-1
4)Fresh dill leaves chopped finely -3/4 cup ... Is very essential for this recipe
5)Chopped fresh coriander-1tbsp
6)Fresh grated coconut or coconut cream/coconut milk-2 tbsp (optional)
7)jeera(cumin) powder-1 tsp
8)salt and red chilly powder to taste
9)oil for shallow frying /roasting
warm water-1/2 cup

Method:
1)Mix all the ingredients.
2)Knead adding water as you mix.It should be a soft pliable dough ...not too hard
3)Take a flat steel plate and grease it with oil.
4)Take a golf ball size amount of dough and pat it (flatten it )on the plate( 3-4mm thick)
5)grease the pan with oil and place the plate (with dough side down) on the pan.
6)Remove the roti from the plate once this side is done.
7)Cook the other side of the roti after smearing it with oil.
